| LocationThe Residual Stress Summit 2005 will be held at the University of British Columbia (UBC). UBC is the major university of western Canada. The campus lies on approximately 450 hectares of woodland, adjacent to downtown Vancouver. The university's setting, with views of the surrounding ocean and snow-capped mountains, is one of the most spectacular in the world. Notable attractions on campus include the world famous Museum of Anthropology, the Nitobe Japanese Gardens, and the 18-hole University Golf Club.
